I first met Atheer following a long period of time being very upset about problems with a couple of back teeth. Two long experienced Orthodontists had given a depressing prognosis. I was then introduced to Atheer at the Abbey Dental Practice. He disagreed with the diagnosis and talked about the opportunities for fixing the problem - rather than the issues! I felt like I was walking on air when I left the room. I had the teeth replaced with 2 implants. I am a very nervous patient but the whole experience was great, and the results are perfect. Atheer is a very kind, clever and skilful surgeon. I can’t recommend him highly enough.

My child attended for removal of two teeth and gas and air at western road practice. I was happy as he was seen within a week of my enquiry and Dr Gupta called in advance to explain how the sedation will work and what was involved. Prior to the enquiry I had been waiting for over a year for him to be seen by NHS services to no avail. During the procedure I am happy there were no tears and he coped really well. A fantastic doctor. His friendly and welcoming attitude put me at ease from the first moments of my visit. Prof Andi had everything arranged so that we could review my X-rays together. After 15 minutes I had a clear understanding of the story told by my X-ray, even though I know nothing about medicine. The magic was that he almost made me feel as if I was another doctor, rather than a patient. Overall, I left in a fantastic mood, confident and happy that I was in good hands.
