I recently underwent surgery for an island flap reconstruction around a lesion site on my lower left leg, as well as a sentinel lymph node biopsy in my left groin. I am pleased to share my experience and provide a review of the procedure. My experience with the island flap reconstruction and sentinel lymph node biopsy was positive, and I am grateful for the expertise of Mr Damir Kosutic and the surgical team, my recovery is going very well. Mr Kosutic is a detailed surgeon and explains everything in an easy to digest manner, putting you at ease straight away. I am happy with my overall experience.

Ms Jajini was kind professional and empathetic, she explained the process well and her team were always available and answered any queries very fast. From start to finish, my experience with Mr Pieri and his team has been excellent. I knew from our first phone consultation that he was the right surgeon for me; he was realistic while remaining compassionate and clearly an incredibly talented surgeon. Breast augmentation is something I’d been thinking about for over a decade, but at no point did I feel rushed into making my final decision. I had a number of questions about the whole process and we were able to come to a decision together about what was best for me. Mr Pieri’s approach to surgery is tailor-made, rather than the conveyor-belt experience that’s more commonly delivered by larger companies. Following my consultation, I didn’t feel the need to shop around for different surgeons. I wanted a really natural aesthetic in keeping with my frame and Mr Pieri has delivered this perfectly. I want to say how happy I am with the results of my breast reduction, which was performed by Mr Ghali and his Team in early April of this year. I knew from my initial consultation with Mr Ghali that I had found the perfect surgeon to perform this procedure. He immediately put my mind at ease, by firstly confirming that I did need this reduction, because this had been something I had been considering for years. Then I really appreciated how he included my family in the discussions and allowed for them to ask any questions, and no question was a 'silly question'. I also appreciated Mr Ghali offering to see me as many times as possible if I need additional reassurance or further questions to be answered. And I would always get quick responses from his PA, Emma. The attention to detail on the day of the surgery made me feel even more relaxed and confident in Mr Ghali's ability to do what I had asked for and he had promised to deliver. The aftercare from the staff over the time in hospital was so good. Mr Ghali came the next day to do a follow-up prior to discharging me and I knew I was going home with a smile on my face. I must say the pain levels for me were quite minimal, so that added to my happiness. My follow-up appointment a week later was again very reassuring again allowing for all questions to be answered, I would highly recommend Mr Ghali to anyone who is considering this type of surgery, and can definitely say you will not regret making that decision.
