I had a consultation with Dr Patel a while back, followed up with him doing an angiogram and then fitting a stent. He is a lovely man, very calm, relaxed and friendly and who gave me every confidence that he would sort out my problem.

Met him on my first visit as Cardiac Arrythmia specialist . He was pleasant, kind and listened to my history, without much explanation for my symptoms. He requested many tests and said we would meet in about a weeks time to discuss further, Wondered why he did not request a 24 hour ecg as it may help to detect the funny sensations that occur in my heart intermittently when i walk / climb stairs. Are they Atrial ectopics?

I was referred to Dr Vroon’s clinic via A&E and was feeling very low and vulnerable but by the time the consultation was finished I was more relaxed and hopeful and feeling that the NHS would do everything it could for me. His approach was gentle, friendly, relaxed and reassuring. I felt he was very respectful of me and my situation. He was very thorough and outlined tests he felt appropriate, what they were for and possible solutions. I felt he was looking at all of the solutions and he explained my journey over the next few months. He spent time ensuring I understood everything and gave me loads of space to ask questions. My mood lifted as he spoke and began to realise that there were tests, results and then future plans. I left the clinic feeling very hopeful and very cared for. I had the best sleep for months after speaking to him. The follow-up consultation was just as helpful and supportive. My health had begun to improve from one of his recommendations and he outlined plans for the following months. I have been through many appointments over the last five years and I can easily say that Dr Vroon’s was the most memorable. He is a special human being with a fantastic bedside manner and meeting him is therapeutic in itself. I am a retired NHS director and have worked with hundred of Doctors, nurses and Consultants over the years and would have felt privileged and blessed to work alongside him. I cant recommend him highly enough.
