Mrs Una Kelly

Una Kelly is an optometrist with a wealth of experience in the field. Since joining Wellington Eye Clinic in 2022, Una has served as a Clinical Optometrist on a full-time basis, contributing to the clinic's mission of providing exceptional eye care services to the community of Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.

Prior to her role at Wellington Eye Clinic, Una developed her skills and expertise through various roles. She served as an Optometrist at MacNally Opticians on The Green from 2020 to 2022 and gained valuable experience as an Optometrist at Specsavers Opticians from 2016 to 2020. Additionally, Una started her optometry career as a Pre-Reg Optometrist at Vision Express.

Una holds a Bachelor's Degree in Optometry from Technological University Dublin, where she graduated with Honours (1.1). Additionally, Una has pursued specialised certifications, including a Professional Certificate in Medical Retina from Ulster University and a Professional Certificate in Myopia Management from Brien Holden Institute. She has also completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Cataract Care in the Community from Technological University Dublin and obtained a Certificate in Optometric Management of Minor Eye Conditions from the Association of Optometrists Ireland.

Una's active involvement in extracurricular activities during her academic years, such as serving as Treasurer of the Optics Society and participating in fundraising events like the Vodafone DIT Fashion Show, demonstrates her leadership skills and commitment to community engagement.
