Ms Renata Sena

Ms Renata Sena is a Functional Patterns Human Foundations Practitioner and Physical Education professional, currently based at Functional Patterns Dublin. Originally from Brazil, she earned her BSc in Physical Education from the Federal University of Ceará in 2010 before relocating to Ireland in 2022. She later completed a Master’s degree in Dispute Resolution at Independent College, further broadening her professional perspective.

For Renata, movement is synonymous with life, a philosophy that underpins her approach to health and performance. Her passion for helping others move better and live healthier lives has driven her continuous professional development. She has undertaken extensive training across functional training, running, gymnastics, and related disciplines, deepening her expertise in performance enhancement, injury prevention, and effective training methodologies. This foundation enabled her to successfully establish and run her own gym in Brazil.

More recently, Renata has completed the Human Foundations course and attended Anatomy Trains workshops specialising in body reading, while continuing to refine her understanding of biomechanics through dedicated practice.

Outside of her professional work, she maintains an active lifestyle, enjoying pursuits such as jiu-jitsu and surfing, which further reflect her commitment to movement and physical expression.
