About Encore Physiotherapy Clinic
Encore Physiotherapy Clinic is a leading sports injury and musculoskeletal rehabilitation clinic with locations in Collooney and Dromore West, Co. Sligo. Established in 2021 as EK Athletic Therapy and rebranded in 2024, the clinic is dedicated to improving physical health, recovery, and performance for individuals of all ages and activity levels.
The clinic was founded by Eamonn Kilgannon, a Chartered Physiotherapist (MISCP) and Certified Athletic Therapist, who holds a BSc in Athletic and Rehabilitation Therapy and an MSc in Physiotherapy. Eamonn has extensive experience in both clinical and sporting environments, having worked with amateur and elite teams in Ireland and Scotland, including serving as head physiotherapist for Ellon United FC. He continues to expand his expertise across areas such as musculoskeletal rehabilitation, community health, respiratory care, and neurology.
Encore Physiotherapy Clinic provides a wide range of services, including injury assessment, rehabilitation programmes, sports medicine, shockwave therapy, corporate physiotherapy, strength and conditioning, pre- and post-surgical rehabilitation, and ACL rehabilitation. The clinic also offers performance testing and individualised recovery plans to ensure each client achieves long-term results.
The clinic operates alongside the TAPA Gym, enabling a hands-on and active approach to rehabilitation. This facility supports rigorous testing and training to ensure clients are fully prepared to return to sport safely and confidently.

I had a pain in my arm.. I was very well attended too by Ryan Lynch... Ryan was very knowledgeable and practical and gave me great exercise to do...I felt very confident with Ryan and feel on an on the road to recover.
Attended Eamon for my 2nd appointment. After a bad femur break and a lot of muscle wastage I’m finding his help and advice on rehab great and am finding that strength is beginning to return. Would highly recommend Eamon. Regards Gerard

Recently had a hip replacement, booked a Physio appointment 2 weeks post op, just to have an assessment of here I was. The visit gave me the confidence I needed to push on. Got loads of info about my particular type of surgery and recovery from that. Was sent an email with exercises and video demonstrations of how to do them, all very easy and although it’s only my first visit with Encore, I’ve booked in again in two weeks to continue rehab, very happy.

Visited Encore on Friday evening last. Eamonn was just so pleasant and really wanted to know all about the injury. No rushing. He did the shock treatment which is brilliant and has now sent me videos of exercies. Excellent service.
