Ms Breda Lynch

Breda Lynch is a fully qualified and accredited psychotherapist. She is accredited by both the Irish Association for Counsellors & Psychotherapists (IACP) and the Association of Adolescent Psychotherapists and Counsellors in Ireland (AAPCI). Breda holds a Bachelor of Arts Honours Degree in Holistic Counselling and Psychotherapy from the International College for Personal and Professional Development (ICPPD), as well as a Diploma in Integrative Adolescent Psychotherapy from The Greenane Centre, Tipperary.

Breda works in an Integrative/Humanistic approach, incorporating Person-Centred, Gestalt, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) techniques depending on the client’s needs and presenting issues. She approaches each client with kindness, working at their own pace and creating a professional, non-judgmental, and supportive environment. Breda believes that every individual is unique and has the potential for positive growth and development.

Having experienced personal loss, including the passing of her mother to cancer and the sudden death of her brother in a car accident, Breda has a deep understanding of grief and loss. She works with clients dealing with a range of challenges, including self-esteem issues, depression, anxiety, trauma, suicidal ideation, and cancer support.

Breda has volunteered with various organisations, including Vita House Roscommon, East Galway & Midlands Cancer Support Centre, St. Catherine's Counselling Service, and Accessible Counselling. She works with individuals on a one-to-one basis (both in-person and online), supporting adolescents aged 13+ and adults on their therapeutic journey.
