Dr Mohammad Amir

Dr. Amir Mohammad is a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Anaesthetist who provides specialised anaesthesia services at the Kingsbridge Private Hospital, situated at Sligo City Hospital. With extensive training and expertise, he offers his services for a wide range of medical procedures, ensuring the comfort and safety of patients undergoing surgery or medical interventions.

Dr. Amir's training and professional journey have primarily taken place in the Republic of Ireland, where he has honed his skills in the field of anaesthesia. His specialisation covers various medical areas, including gynaecological procedures, vascular surgeries, plastic surgeries, general procedures, and ophthalmic procedures. 

In addition to his clinical responsibilities, Dr. Amir actively contributes to medical education. He has delivered lectures to the department, highlighting his commitment to advancing medical understanding and best practices. Furthermore, he has taken on important roles such as organising ICU Morbidity and Mortality meetings, as well as Obstetric M&M meetings. Dr. Amir's dedication to medical education ensures that medical students receive proper guidance and attention.

Dr. Amir holds a European Diploma in Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care, awarded in May 2017 (DESA). He is also a Fellow of the College of Anaesthesiologists of Ireland (FCAI) and a Member of the College of Anaesthetists of Ireland (CAI).
