About Laser Health

Laser Health is a clinic founded by 3 women; a Medical Doctor, a Nutritional Therapist and a Bio -Kinesiologist who came together through our own personal struggles with hormonal health, infertility and endometriosis.

Our aim was to build a space where women feel truly listened to, where their symptoms are taken seriously and where they can be supported in a more integrative and personalised way.

As part of our approach, we also offer advanced low-level laser therapy (GigaLaser), which is the first of its kind available in the west of Ireland, used to support tissue healing, reduce inflammation and reduce pain.

We introduced the GigaLaser to complement the work we are already doing with our clients, offering a more targeted and supportive approach throughout all life stages.  This advanced form of infrared therapy works at a deep tissue level to reduce inflammation, accelerate recovery and improve cellular energy.

It is particularly effective for pain relief and post-injury healing, as well as for chronic inflammatory conditions such as endometriosis, where reducing pelvic inflammation can significantly improve life quality.

We also integrate the laser into our fertility and perimenopause care, where supporting blood flow and mitochondrial function to the ovaries has been shown to help optimise hormone balance, ovarian function and overall reproductive wellbeing.

I visited Laser Health for a few sessions recently after tearing my hamstring during a match. Within 10 days of my injury, I was able to sprint again thanks to the help of Laser Health and the red light therapy. I've never recovered so quickly from a hamstring injury before.

I couldn’t recommend the ladies and the service at Laser Health in Ross House highly enough. I had been dealing with ongoing hip problems caused by cartilage damage and labral tears for years. To make matters worse, I developed a stress fracture in my foot just two weeks before an Ironman I had been training all year. I had very little time to get myself into a position where I could compete. From my very first visit, the ladies were incredibly welcoming, friendly and professional. I was always greeted with a warm smile and great conversation, and they took the time to understand my injuries and explain the treatment clearly. The laser treatment itself completely exceeded my expectations. I noticed the effects almost immediately, with a significant reduction in pain and a clear improvement in how I was moving. After continuing treatment over those two weeks, I was able to complete the Ironman with little pain—something I wasn’t sure would be possible beforehand. The combination of excellent treatment, professional service and genuinely caring staff made the entire experience exceptional. I would highly recommend Laser Health to anyone considering this type of treatment.

I couldn’t fault my experience with both niamh and dr codruta they have gone above and beyond answering messages and emails at all hours and being a constant reassurance. I had two failed transfers before working with them, stage four endometriosis and adenomyosis. They have worked with me and helped me every step of the way. Niamh created a full plan for my microbiome and with their guidance I also started red light therapy and the Gigi lazer. They helped me get to the bottom of a lot of issues that have been holding me back and I am so grateful to them. I am currently a few weeks pregnant after being told they were very little hope for me. I couldn’t have got here without them and I had honestly very little hope left. They actually treat you like a friend and not just another number it is clear they really care about their patients. If I could give anyone advice on infertility it would be dont give up and contact them for help. It’s a long road but so worth it.

I cannot thank Laser Health enough after our recent HSE IVF round. We are delighted to share that we achieved 4 top quality Day 5 blastocysts. We needed IVF due to severe male factor infertility and we were so worried as my husband's sperm results were all so low if we’d even get 1 blast to transfer! We worked with Niamh for 3 months before treatment to optimise both egg and sperm quality, including bi-weekly GigaLaser sessions. Our doctor was delighted that 95% of my eggs were mature, giving us the best possible chance of successful fertilisation. During this time, microbiome testing also identified an imbalance that we were able to address before transfer. I would recommend Laser Health to anyone preparing for an HSE IVF cycle. While you're waiting to get called, you might as well use that time to give yourself the best possible chance for success.

I have been training for the last 6 months for a cycling trip to France. I unfortunately came off my bike in April and broke my collarbone very badly and fractured my pelvis. My wife had been using the red light laser for her hip pain and had amazing results so I thought I’d give it a try. I booked 6 sessions but I noticed a huge difference after only 4. The pain was definitely a lot less severe and I was back on the bike 5 weeks after the accident. I am delighted as I thought the accident would mean missing the trip to France for the Marmotte but I'm just back, after completing it!! I firmly believe it was all thanks to the treatment.

I’ve been going to Laser Health for GigaLaser Red Light Therapy for almost 6 months, and it has been a game-changer. I had an incredibly successful round of IVF where 90% of my eggs were mature, and we are very happy to have some frozen embryos banked for the future. Alongside diet and supplements, the GigaLaser definitely made a massive difference. As someone with endometriosis, the Gigalaser is vital for managing my symptoms, lowering inflammation, and controlling pain. I’ve already gone back to prepare for my next round of IVF. A special thanks to Niamh, who was always there with amazing advice, testing guidance, and answers whenever I needed them. I couldn't recommend them enough!

I started this treatment last Friday and, after just my first session, the results have been incredible. For the first time in three years, I haven't needed any pain relief, anti-inflammatory medication, or pain-relief creams since my treatment. I genuinely can't believe the difference it has made in such a short time. My pain has reduced significantly, especially in my hip, and the stiffness I was experiencing has improved dramatically. I'm walking much more freely and naturally again. Before this treatment, I relied on painkillers and anti-inflammatory creams every day just to get through the day and manage the discomfort. Since my first session, that constant need has disappeared. I am amazed at how much my pain and stiffness have reduced already. Being able to walk normally again feels incredible, and I couldn't be happier with the results so far. Regards Yvonne

I had a very positive experience. Most of my appointments were with Niamh and she could not have been more positive and encouraging as well imparting valuable information that really helped me on my fertility journey. I had secondary infertility at least partly due to endometriosis. After going through 18 months of IVF without success I had all but given up. Within a few weeks of starting laser I no longer had period pain and I got pregnant at the end of January after just 2 months of laser - I do not think it was a coincidence because I had tried literally everything before this with no success. I also notice I had no pain in the first trimester this time and with my only previous pregnancy I had a lot of cramping and pain with implantation and early pregnancy and I attribute this to the laser reducing endo inflammation as well as improving my egg quality. So thrilled to have finally had a happy outcome and could not recommend this clinic (and Niamh!) more

For so long, I suffered with chronic back pain and I was struggling to move. I genuinely thought my only options were taking pain killers. Then, something amazing happened! I was at an event in Galway recently and was incredibly lucky to be gifted a free session on the new GigaLaser. To be honest, I was skeptical at first. I mean, how can light really help, but let me tell you, my experience was genuinely life-changing. I could not believe the relief after just one session - 80% improvement in my pain! I was shocked because I suddenly felt like I could trust my body to move again, a feeling I haven't had in years. I highly recommend the laser. No medication, no side effects , a relaxing experience and to top it off, the girls are so helpful and knowledgeable.
