Areas of expertise
Laser Health is a clinic founded by 3 women; a Medical Doctor, a Nutritional Therapist and a Bio -Kinesiologist who came together through our own personal struggles with hormonal health, infertility and endometriosis.
Our aim was to build a space where women feel truly listened to, where their symptoms are taken seriously and where they can be supported in a more integrative and personalised way.
As part of our approach, we also offer advanced low-level laser therapy (GigaLaser), which is the first of its kind available in the west of Ireland, used to support tissue healing, reduce inflammation and reduce pain.
We introduced the GigaLaser to complement the work we are already doing with our clients, offering a more targeted and supportive approach throughout all life stages. This advanced form of infrared therapy works at a deep tissue level to reduce inflammation, accelerate recovery and improve cellular energy.
It is particularly effective for pain relief and post-injury healing, as well as for chronic inflammatory conditions such as endometriosis, where reducing pelvic inflammation can significantly improve life quality.
We also integrate the laser into our fertility and perimenopause care, where supporting blood flow and mitochondrial function to the ovaries has been shown to help optimise hormone balance, ovarian function and overall reproductive wellbeing.

Had my second session for frozen shoulder. Had a noticeable reduction in pain and stiffness after the first. I’m trying to avoid surgery and have been recommended this therapy from physios and inflammation therapists.
I had a fertility laser session with Niamh recently and for a first time attending you were put at ease and could relax, it felt like you were having a chat with one of the girls and after one having one session so far, I am seeing a big improvement in my period. I am looking forward to going back soon again for my next one 😊
After a bad injury to my back from a fall, I had a course of Laser therapy treatment. It greatly reduced spasms, and really helped with back pain. I definitely noticed a big difference. Both Maeve and Niamh were very knowledgeable and helpful. I would highly recommend this treatment.
I highly recommend visiting the laser health clinic. I found the laser therapy great for pain relief.
I had 3 sessions on my neck/shoulder area and on my foot. After second session I started to feel improvement on my neck pain, less swollen foot and able to walk longer . Thank you for such a good experience
I had 7 gigalaser sessions at Laser Health in Galway City over a 2 month period at the start of this year. Niamh and her team were always very helpful, friendly and professional. They gave great advice on my IVF and endometriosis journeys. The sessions were very easy to book and her staff were fantastic. The gigalaser was easy to use and each session only took 30 minutes. The Laser Health Clinic was cosy, calm and relaxing. The staff always answered all my questions. The one issue that I came across on my journey was inflammation in my uterus. I had a laparoscopy in January this year and the gigalaser sessions helped with the inflammation in my uterus post surgery. At age 42, I am now very happy to say that I am 9 weeks pregnant for the first time after years of trying. I am so happy that I did the gigalaser sessions.
