Dr Maryum Khalid

Dr Maryum Khalid is a Consultant in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine. She is dedicated to diagnosing and treating a wide range of gastrointestinal disorders, including conditions such as GERD, Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, and irritable bowel syndrome. Dr Khalid also provides care for patients with liver and biliary diseases like hepatitis and fatty liver.

In addition to her specialisation in digestive health, Dr Khalid manages chronic and long-standing diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, and hyperlipidemia. She is skilled in performing a variety of investigative and therapeutic endoscopic procedures. These include upper endoscopies, colonoscopies, and capsule endoscopies, among others.

Dr Khalid obtained her Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Health and Sciences in Pakistan in 2007. She went on to achieve the FCPS in Gastroenterology from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Pakistan in 2016 and became a Member of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh in 2020.
