Dr Omar Abdulmajid Masri

Dr Omar Abdulmajid Masri is a Consultant in Gastroenterology and Hepatology with over 12 years of specialised experience. He completed his medical education at the American University of Beirut Medical Center, Lebanon, in 2006, where he also pursued a residency in Internal Medicine (2011) and a subspecialty in Gastroenterology and Hepatology (2014). He further completed a fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology, including advanced Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) training, at the same institution.

Dr Masri’s expertise encompasses a wide range of advanced endoscopic procedures, including EUS, ERCP, colonoscopy, and Endoscopic Mucosal Resection (EMR) for large colonic lesions. He is highly skilled in advanced therapeutic upper GI endoscopy and colonoscopy procedures, such as oesophageal, duodenal, and colonic stent insertion, stricture dilatation, variceal banding, glue injection, and PEG tube insertion, among others.
