Dr. James Schuler – Doctor of Dental Surgery

Dr. James Schuler is a Doctor of Dental Surgery with more than 32 years of experience across general dentistry, clinical teaching, and hospital-based dental care.

He began his academic journey at the University of California, Riverside, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with Honours followed by a Master of Science in Analytical Chemistry. He later completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).

Dr. Schuler has worked as a Consultant in General Dentistry at King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre in Riyadh, where he treated patients in a tertiary care hospital setting, including individuals with complex medical backgrounds. His clinical work has covered general dental care, restorative dentistry, endodontics, removable prosthodontics, guided bone regeneration, and dental treatment provided in the operating theatre for patients requiring additional medical support.

Alongside his clinical practice, Dr. Schuler has been actively involved in dental education. He has taught and supervised clinical students and residents, delivered Grand Rounds presentations, and supported learning through structured teaching and laboratory instruction.

His background brings together dentistry, science, and education, with a career shaped by hospital practice, academic teaching, and long-standing clinical experience.
