Dr Islam Ammar

Dr. Islam Mohamed Magdi Ammar is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynecologist and Associate Professor with 17 years of experience in women’s health, gynecologic surgery, and minimally invasive gynecological procedures. He currently practices at Saudi German Hospital – Madinah, where he provides specialized care for a wide range of obstetric and gynecological conditions.

Dr. Ammar has extensive experience in Cesarean sections, abdominal and vaginal hysterectomy, abdominal myomectomy, diagnostic and operative laparoscopy, and hysteroscopy. His clinical practice includes the assessment and management of pelvic pain or pressure, heavy or prolonged menstrual bleeding, irregular periods, painful urination during menstruation, bloating, nausea, pain during intercourse, and vaginal bleeding between periods.

Alongside his clinical work, Dr. Ammar has a strong academic background at Zagazig University, where he has served as Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology and later as Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology. His combined clinical and academic experience reflects his commitment to advanced gynecologic care, surgical excellence, medical education, and evidence-based patient management.
