Dr. Wisam breaks the mold when it comes to bedside manner, building trust, and educating patients to feel empowered enough to make big healthcare decisions together. I have been a patient of his for only 4 months and thankfully recently underwent a successful surgery with Dr. Wisam which I am healing from. He solved an issue with my breast that I had been tormented by for almost 3 years. 3 years of multiple doctors, mammograms, MRIs, biopsies, international consultations and all sorts of inconveniences dreading the day when my results would go from benign to malignant. 3 years of negativity living in the back of my mind imagining the worst. But from the moment I met Dr. Wisam, it was clear that his objective was going to be to give me answers and solutions. He educated me on my situation and helped me come to the right decision that made sense for me. And he did it in a way that was so humane and supportive. His work is impeccable where not even the aesthetics post surgery were an issue for me to worry about. He is so gifted in his craft and precise, my scar is healing beautifully. His bedside manner and ability to just be human with me and treat me with the same candor one would treat a loved one is immeasurable. Dr. Wissam has been wonderful throughout the entire mastectomy experience. From the start, he patiently explained the procedure and addressed each of my questions, even drawing a diagram of the surgical area and showing examples of possible results. The day of the operation (and following day) he checked in to answer any questions and offer reassuring words. After the operation, I had very little pain or discomfort. Follow up appointments have been just as thorough and thoughtful as the first appointment. I can't recommend Dr Wissam enough - not only his surgical expertise (he's excellent), but his kindness and care make him a great choice of surgeon.
