Dr. Ibtessam Sheya A. Shaneen Al Jabawy is a highly experienced Obstetrician and Gynecologist Specialist with an extensive background in providing comprehensive care to women. She serves as a visiting/part-time physician at several esteemed healthcare facilities in the UAE, including Canadian Specialist Hospital in Dubai, Saudi German Hospital in Sharjah, Thumbay Hospital in Ajman, Zulekha Hospital in Sharjah, and Al Zahra Hospital in Sharjah.

Her professional journey spans over two decades, during which she has held various positions in both clinical practice and hospital management. Dr. Ibtessam is the owner of Ibtesam Medical Center in Ajman, UAE, where she continues to provide high-quality obstetric and gynaecological care. Previously, she worked at M. R. T Medical Polyclinic in Dubai and International Specialist Medical Centre in Ajman.

Dr. Ibtessam's experience also includes founding and managing Al Fayha General Hospital in Al Barsha, Iraq, where she practised as an Obstetrician and Gynecologist. She has served in registrar roles at Maternity and Children Teaching Hospital in Al Barsha, Iraq, and Hospital for Maternity and Children in Semawa, Iraq. Her medical career began with a house officer position in Obstetrics and Gynecology at General Hospital in Qaeem, Iraq, followed by an internship at Ramadi General Hospital in Al Anbar, Iraq.

She holds several qualifications and certifications, including Part 1 of the MRCOG (Member of the Royal College in Obstetrics and Gynecology), the Arab Board of Medical Specialization in Obstetrics and Gynecology from the Council of Arab Board of Medical, and a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynecology from Al Mustansyria University in Baghdad, Iraq. Dr. Ibtessam earned her Bachelor's degree in Medicine and Surgery (M.B.Ch.B.) from Al Mustansyria University in Baghdad.

In addition to her formal education, Dr. Ibtessam has completed specialised courses to enhance her skills and knowledge in obstetric and gynecological care. This includes the MOET (Managing Obstetric Emergencies and Trauma) course conducted by the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and emergency obstetric care training under the United Nations.
