Dr. Arianna D'Angelo is a highly experienced consultant in assisted reproductive medicine, gynaecology and early pregnancy ultrasound with over 20 years of medical experience. She obtained her MD from the University of Palermo in Italy, completing her postgraduate specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and subspecialist Reproductive Medicine at the same university. After working as a Consultant in Reproductive Medicine in Italy, she worked as a consultant in Essex and Wales in the UK, before becoming the Clinical Lead in Reproductive Medicine at the Wales Fertility Institute in Cardiff and Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Cardiff University.
Dr. D'Angelo is a published author and editor, having written numerous international publications and a book on ultrasound in assisted conception and early pregnancy. Her research interests include ultrasound, ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome, fertility preservation and cancer, recurrent implantation failure, markers of ovarian reserve and ovarian cancer screening. She is a member, reviewer, co-reviewer and translator of the Cochrane Gynaecology and Fertility Group, as well as a member of the Ethics Committee and steering committee of the Fertility Network UK (Wales) charity group. Dr. D'Angelo is also an international conference speaker and a journal peer-reviewer in the field of reproductive medicine and ultrasound. Her expertise and experience in assisted reproductive medicine, gynaecology and ultrasound make her a highly sought-after specialist in her field.

She is very empathetic and is the right person for this field as it requires a lot of emotional patient management along with the required expertise. We found her quite apt in her knowledge and skillful for intervention & procedures. She also gives a lot of education to patients to help them make a well informed decision. Patient Care seemed like one of the Core Values in the sessions with her. Her vast researched based knowledge really makes her stand out among others in this field which gives patients a lot of confidence and helps her address a wide variety of queries & concerns from the patients.

Dr Arianna is a compassionate doctor who is very thorough in reviewing the patient's case and history. She ensured to gather all the details and review the bloodwork, prior to walking me through everything. She was diligent in explaining and answering all my questions and concerns, along with a clear action plan that we were both comfortable with.

Dr Arianna was amazing from beginning to end of my egg freezing procedure. She is so kind, caring and supportive, offering amazing advice along the way. Dr Arianna is patient, kind, professional and has a wealth of fertility / IVF experience. She remains positive and supportive during the process yet she is honest and direct when needed. Her expertise in IVF is clear, out of 3 rounds we had the best results with her. Results that have equally shocked and delighted us.
