Dr. Shobha Joseph is a highly skilled dermatologist at Heidelberg Dermatology. She has a keen interest in a wide spectrum of skin conditions, ranging from skin cancer/melanoma and acne to rosacea, psoriasis, eczema, hair and scalp disorders, and pigmentary disorders.

Dr. Joseph completed her undergraduate degree at St. John's Medical College in India. Her interest in dermatology led her to earn an MD in Dermatology in 1997. Following her qualification, she practised dermatology in India and furthered her experience with a year of practice in the United Kingdom. Seeking to expand her expertise, Dr. Joseph pursued additional training at St. Vincent's Hospital, Melbourne, from 2009 to 2010.

Over the subsequent years, Dr. Joseph engaged in private practice and specialised consultation, contributing her dermatological skills to the Skin and Cancer Foundation and St. Vincent's Hospital, Melbourne. She also played an essential role in the Western Hospital skin cancer clinic and offered her services at the Skin Cancer Triage Clinic at St. Vincent's Hospital from 2010 to 2013.

Dr. Joseph holds the esteemed title of a Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists, further highlighting her dedication and proficiency in the field. Her commitment extends beyond her clinical work, as she actively contributes to the education and training of Registrars in Dermatology. She provides guidance and supervision at the St. Vincent's Hospital General Dermatology Clinic and the Psoriasis and Biologics clinic, which operates under the umbrella of the Skin Health Institute, formerly known as the Skin and Cancer Foundation.
