Dr. Reema Kohli

Dr. Reema Kohli is a highly skilled Obstetrician and Gynaecologist based in Melbourne, Victoria, with over 15 years of experience. She is accredited by the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG) and holds a special interest in pelvic floor disorders, pelvic floor reconstructive surgery, and minimally invasive laparoscopic and vaginal surgery.

Dr. Kohli completed her advanced training in obstetrics and gynaecology at Box Hill Hospital in Victoria, followed by fellowship with RANZCOG. She furthered her expertise in urogynaecology during an additional year of training at Gold Coast University Hospital in Queensland, where she learned specialised techniques in pelvic floor surgery under Dr. Malcolm Frazer.

Her professional journey includes training and practising across rural, regional, and tertiary hospitals in Australia and India. Currently, she holds public appointments at Eastern Health and Monash Health, where she continues to provide specialised care in obstetrics and gynaecology.

Dr. Kohli is committed to personalised patient care, emphasising informed decision-making and patient-centred practices. She is actively involved in medical education, serving as a RANZCOG-accredited training supervisor and participating in teaching roles at Griffith University and Epworth Clinical School. She is also a member of the Board of Examiners for Specialist trainees in obstetrics and gynaecology.

Dr. Kohli's contributions to research have been recognised internationally, particularly her work on predictors of fetal growth restriction and advancements in visualising the urinary tract during laparoscopy. She has presented her research findings at numerous national and international conferences.

Recently, Dr. Kohli was awarded the prestigious Brown Craig Travelling Fellowship by the RANZCOG Women's Foundation in 2023 enabling her to pursue further research and training in advanced vaginal surgery.

Her clinical interests include pre pregnancy planning , complex pregenancy management including  management of twin pregnancies and vaginal birth after Caesarean. She has delivered more than 500 babies in her rols as an Obstetrician in India and Australia  Her Gynaecological interests include management of prolapse, ovarian cysts , fibroid uterus and abnormal uterine bleeding reflecting her dedication to addressing complex gynaecological issues with cutting-edge treatments and compassionate care.
