Professor Greg Malham specialises in spinal surgery at his private practice located at Epworth Private Richmond, Melbourne. He is one of Australasia's most renowned spinal surgeons with vast experience in all areas of spine surgery in particular minimally invasive spine surgery, image-guided and robotic-assisted surgery, total disc replacement in the cervical and lumbar spine, spine trauma, and spinal tumour surgery. He also specialises in sports-related spine injuries for professional athletes particularly in Rugby Union, rugby league, tennis, and horse racing.

Professor Malham is dedicated to his career and is the senior spinal neurosurgeon in the Neuroscience Directorate at Epworth Richmond. He is also an adjunct professor of spine surgery research and surgical innovations at Swinburne University. he has published more than 60 peer-reviewed articles and authored four book chapters in the field of spine trauma and brain tumour surgeries. In addition, he lectures both nationally and internationally on spine trauma and degenerative spinal surgery.

Professor Malham gained his medical qualifications from the University of Otago, New Zealand in 1989 with awards in both surgery and medicine. He then moved to Melbourne in 1997 to undertake advanced training in neurosurgery and gained his Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in 2000.
