One thing in particular that I liked was that, at the start of the session, she asked me what I wanted to get out of my consultation with her. This is a question that not many doctors ask, but makes a huge difference for the patient as it means that both parties are clear on the purpose of the consultation. Dr Farooque then used my answer as a basis for the rest of the appointment and came up with a clear plan of action for further diagnostic tests and consultations.
