I would definitely recommend Dr. Kochhar - he took the time to take a detailed history, fully explained my current condition and supported my GP's diagnosis for further treatment.

Dr Kochhar took the time to fully understand my situation, he was patient and informative whilst explaining and made sure I fully understood the process. He was accomodating of my financial situation also and suggested the best ways to progress to make sure I don't incur large costs.

It was really useful and helpful. Dr Kochhar was calm and knowledgeable.

It was the first time I had been referred to see an endocrinologist, and was feeling anxious as didn’t know what to expect. I had private insurance, and all I know was that I needed to see one ASAP, as I was desperate to get a diagnosis and was willing to travel. Although it meant travelling from Manchester to Bolton, I was just relieved I got an appointment with Dr Kochhar in the same week, at the Circle hospital in Bolton. Whilst sat in the waiting area to be called in, I was greeted with a warm smile and a very friendly nature, which put me at ease straight away. My health had not been good for while, so on the day I was very emotional and unable to think clearly at times. I was very impressed with Dr Kochhar’s kind nature and patience. He didn’t rush me but took his time to listen to me and answer all the questions I had, and trust me I had several! He was thorough in in explanation, and the tests he decided to carry out to establish a diagnosis. A fortnight later, my experience at my follow up appointment with Dr Kochhar, was the same. He clearly explained my results and checked if I understood. My treatment options were discussed and he gave me enough i fimstuon to make a decision. I found Dr Kochhar to be a very honest, caring and diligent specialist. My husband accompanied me on this appointment and he was also impressed with meeting such a lovely doctor. I would highly recommend Dr Kochhar to anyone who is looking for an excellent endocrinologist. He is attentive, very knowledgable and has such a lovely and kind personality, which will put you at ease the moment you meet him. Thank you Dr Kochhar. We need more specialists like you who are down to earth and caring.

I have had a fair few consultant appointments in recent years both NHS and private but Dr Kochhar exceeds expectations. His genuine interest in my past medical history, providing me with scientific explanations through both words and diagrams; talking to me about recent research pertaining to health (I am an academic so this is my forte). He also gave me the opportunity to share my knowledge by asking my understanding of what I know about the reason I went to see him. He also gave me an opportunity to ask questions and even answered questions to previous medical history not to do with this appointment. His bedside manner was extremely professional. He also treated me like a “knowledgeable” person, for me this was both respectful and a mark of reducing the power between professional and patient. It also allowed me to understand my own healthcare and future needs. He also communicated with me via the secretarial email, and it was incredibly professional.
