My experience with Dr Richard Ang dates back to January 2020 when he saw me on the Cardiology ward at Homerton Hospital after I was admitted as an emergency patient with arrhythmia following a bypass operation after a heart attack four months earlier. Dr Ang diagnosed Atrial Fibrillation /flutter as the result of his analysis of my ecg heart monitor readings and painstakingly explained my options to deal with this diagnosis. Since then the Covid19 pandemic struck the UK. During Covid19 Lockdown I have had additional cardiovascular disease symptoms that are unrelated to Covid19. As the result of various scans to establish the causes of my additional symptoms of breathlessness and chest pain I have been consulting with other cardiologists in addition to Dr Ang. Dr Ang has helped me navigate around the complex issues of my heart disease and how best to proceed. He has always kept other consultants informed of our discussions. He has been extremely patient and painstaking in explaining the issues arising from these various scans and my options as a cardiac patient with complex issues, always deferring to other consultants when the issues are outwith his area of expertise. Dr Ang's manner and attitude are unfailingly helpful, always taking time to explain the complex issues clearly so that I understand.

I was very happy with the phone call appointment. It wasn’t rushed and Dr Ang is Very good and attentive listener, very helpful and clearly and logically explained procedures and possible outcomes, and possible treatment options for each of those. This gave me clarity and put my mind at ease.

My consultation with Dr Ang was a good and reassuring experience.
