Dr Jose was meticulous and very clear in explaining his findings and agreeing a treatment plan with me. I am thoroughly impressed and already have significant trust in his opinion.

Dr Jose's diagnoses and treatment was spot on. Condition has been resolved exactly how Dr Jose explained it would.

I came to Dr Jose for a second opinion on my chronic and deteriorating respiratory problems and immunodeficiency. He was extremely approachable and I was encouraged to hear that there were alternative options to consider to improve my condition that had been overlooked or not considered before. He has been quick to correspond with myself and my GP to arrange for my referral to him and his clinic to proceed. I remain hopeful that through his intervention there may be an improvement in my condition.

Excellent professional, very attentive; a great doctor

Dr Ricardo Jose saved my life. After being sent home twice from the hospital with back and fron pain, I decided that i needed a 2nd opinion from a specialist because my pain wouldnt go away, once i got in the office, Dr Ricardo Jose looked at my leg which was swollen (i hadn't made the correlation) and pointed out that I could have a DVT and wrote me a letter for the hospital and I went straight to the A&E to be checked upon per his request. Once i was there i was straight away admnistered into the special care as i had a DVT which Dr Ricardo Jose had pointed out. To make matters worst, after the initial scans (CTSCAN), the radiologist at the hospital had said i didn't have any blood clots in my lungs, which Dr Ricardo Jose upon having access to my historical data and scans saw that wasnt the case and that i actually had a blood clot, so once more i was saved by this man that made sure the hospital doctors would have to have a look again at my scans to confirm my PE which was the case. I can't fathom what could have happened to me if I hadn't gone to this Doctor and him following up my staying in the hospital by liasing with the doctors with other complications i had. I can just thank him for everything that he did for me.

I booked a lung cancer screening at the Royal Brompton Hospital and was very lucky to be looked after by Dr Jose. He is a hugely knowledgeable medical consultant whose expertise is really broad, and who spent a great deal of time going over my past medical history. Because he took a holistic approach to my health and medical history, he has diagnosed a heart-related problem that none of the lung specialists I saw before had investigated. I am really grateful as the health implications of this diagnosis are potentially very far-reaching. In addition to his professionalism Dr Jose has great empathy and is very approachable. He really took the time to clearly explain the screening options and answered all my many questions. I also felt involved in the decision making about future treatments. I have received truly excellent care and have been impressed by Dr Jose’s professionalism and caring nature. I would recommend Dr Jose to any patient in need of treatment and / or diagnosis for a respiratory condition.

Dr Jose is extremely professional yet approachable and has an excellent bedside manner. He is very organised and follows up on tests/results etc in a timely manner and responds to any queries quickly. He is excellent at liaising with staff from other hospitals to provide co-ordinated care.
