Mr Mathew was brilliant with me. I had a condition where excess skin had grown inside my left ear. My audiologist discovered the condition when I went to get some earwax removed (I thought). I was referred to Mr Mathew who explained the condition to me and the options of dealing with it. I have a restricted airway so the operation to remove the excess skin was tricky but was performed expertly by Mr Mathew. Although I could have opted for regular scraping of my ear canal the operation, which Mr Mathew explained-concisely in layman’s terms, was the perfect solution for me.

From the outset Mr Mathew listened to my concerns and carried out a thorough examination. He explained the need for an operation and went carefully though the risks. Now, two weeks after my operation I have been for a check up and he took time to explain everything and to check everything thoroughly. I am most grateful for all the care I have received from him.
