I went to see Professor Emberton to find out if a particular variant of focal therapy would work on my prostate cancer. Whilst he did give me an opinion on this, he also took a more general approach. Thus, he gave me a more strategic opinion of the best approach for me, based on my specific situation. I was most grateful for this, since I had had to try to work my own way through the options up until then. He arranged for a review of my biopsy slide. This provided much better clarity than the one I had received from my local hospital. All in all, I received very clear explanation of my situation, and very good advice from Professor Emberton.
