Excellent and painless treatment

Great experience with Greg Shaw, good explanation of risks involved from the first consultation. Surgery availability was good and very smooth streamlined process from first consultation to surgery. Surgery procedure as expected and results speak for themselves. Only required one night in hospital after surgery. Recovery on all aspects was good. No unexpected problems, PSA is undetectable 9 months post surgery and all functions are still good. Overall very happy would recommend.

It's been 10 months since my Robotic Prostatectomy procedure that was performed by Mr Greg Shaw. Mr Shaw kept me up to date throughout the whole process and helped calm my nerves with his words of comfort whilst being completely honest about the whole process. It is a testament to Mr Shaw's skill and professionalism that I, at 10 months post surgery have not experienced any of the usual side effects that can occur after the type of surgery I went through. I can honestly say, that I feel the same as I did prior to my surgery and for this I thank Mr Greg Shaw - a top surgeon whom I highly recommend.

Mr Shaw has at all times been excellent. Both in the initial monitoring phase, the problem identification phase, the operation itself of course and in the follow up. I could not hope for a better experience I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Mr Shaw and the Prostate Centre. In fact I have already done so. He was exceptionally clear in explaining my cancer and the treatment alternatives that were available to me. Moreover, immediately after the operation he (and of course the nursing team at the Prostate Centre) were extremely informative and attentive to my minor relatively minor recovery issues. The fact that these issues were indeed minor was testament in itself to the quality of treatment I received.
