A fantastic surgeon. Provided extremely clear explanations about what was happening. Very thorough. Always prepared to go the extra mile. I would unhesitatingly recommend him to anyone facing breast cancer.

I would highly recommend Mr Patani who provided excellent care and surgical management for Ductal carcinoma breast. He explained everything needed before and after surgery. I was treated with utmost kindness and dignity which made me to feel at ease. The secretaries and CNS Jennifer Heeney's help was remarkable and worth mentioning. The radiologist Dr Tamara Suaris was exceptionally skilled in removing the micro calcification via steriotactic biopsy which enabled better surgical outcomes. There is not even one bit of doubt that I am so lucky to be well looked after by an amazing team of professionals both in the outpatient and in patient The below mnemonic sums up the qualities of a great breast surgeon P- Professional, passionate about care A- Approachable to patient and carer T- Talented A- Attentive N- Nice I- Impressive communication

Mr Patani is an excellent specialist whom I would highly recommend. I have seen him a number of times in the last 2 years - for both acute issues (nasty infection of breast cyst, darkening of breast skin) when he has been kind enough to go out of his way to fit me in urgently; as well as for routine breast checks. He has a wonderful bedside manner - good with explanations which are always straightforward and delivered in a way that does not overwhelm, thorough in his examinations and history taking, and - really importantly for me - extremely human and approachable, putting the patient at ease in a way that is rare in surgeons of his standing. I never feel rushed, am comfortable asking him about any aspect of my breast health, and grateful that he has helped shed light on things I have wondered about. He inspires trust and confidence, and is a very pleasant and warm individual who makes you feel both safe and heard.

My experience with Mr Patani has been a very positive one. Considering my initial breast cancer diagnosis being such a shock, as i’m sure it is to everyone in the same position. Mr Patanis way of handling my case was so very understanding, kind and considerate. He was extremely thorough in his approach whilst at the same time being very sensitive and explained absolutely everything in great detail. I felt under no obligation to be forced to do any treatment I did not want to but I was so reassured by Mr Patani that his suggested path of treatment was one hundred percent the correct route for me. I feel very fortunate to have been in his hands, through a very scary journey. I am continuing my follow ups with Mr Patani and still continue to be re assured on every visit with him. I can’t thank him enough and feel he has made this whole experience easier than I ever imagined it would be, he is a great asset to the medical world.

Mr Neill Patani has been my breast surgeon for nearly two years now and have seen him every six months. My first appointment with him he had read my large volume of very detailed notes regarding my Metastasis Breast Cancer which had been diagnosed 13 years ago and had gone into my bones - this treatable but not curable. He discussed this is much detail with me and I felt from the very first appointment he fully understood exactly the extent of my breast cancer and my concerns going forward. His manner is not only professional but very caring and an excellent listener. Having had appointments with many medical professionals during the last 13 years, Mr Patani is a super, caring, professional individual who I hope is my breast surgeon for many years to come. An exceptional doctor.

It was my first appointment with Mr Patani and I was impressed that he studied my case in details and he knew about all my previous medical records. He was extremely attentive to my health situation and took into account all my concerns.

My consultation with Mr Patani, with scan and MRI re-assured me that the on-going pain and discomfort in my left breast was not cause for concern. Thank you.

Mr Patani was warm and direct right from our first meeting in early September. I was referred by my GP and he diagnosed me with breast cancer with kindness, clarity and directness which I hugely appreciated. In such a frightening situation it was wonderful to feel immediate trust and care. His care has continued with surgery (which gave a neat scar) and very quick reaction and appointments in the last two months when odema from the radiotherapy became aggravating and alarming for me. He’s always calm, polite, remembers everything and has always been available for super quick follow up, when needed. He’s a very skilled surgeon and I feel extremely lucky to be under his care.
