I was impressed when Mr Goddard first met me and showed me to his consulting room. He was personable and treated me as a person, rather than a hospital number. He was interested in my case and how I had come to need to see him. He explained the surgery and the sedative/spinal injection anaesthesia that he would use and the length of my stay and aftercare. On the day of surgery, and immediately before I was taken to theatre, Mr Goddard came to see me and put me at ease. After I had returned to my room following surgery he came to see me again to confirm the operation had gone well. The personal touch made all the difference.

Mr Goddard explained every stage of the procedure, what to expect during and after the operation. It was so nice to see him before he commenced the operation, at it made you more relaxed also to see you after the operation. Would highly recommend. Very friendly person that made you feel comfortable.
