Dr Liaqat Chowoo is a Consultant Urological Surgeon currently based at Bedfordshire, BMI The Manor Hospital. His current NHS post is Consultant Urologist at Bedford University Hospital NHS Trust. His areas of specialism are andrology, functional urology, and urological oncology. His areas of interest include General urology, Functional urology, Urinary incontinence, Urodynamics, Urological cancers, Prostate cancer, BPH, Elevated PSA, Bladder cancer; Haematuria, Urinary Tract Infections UTI and Erectile Dysfunction.
Dr Chowoo qualified in Medicine in 1987 from Kashmir University with Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degrees and in 1992 he qualified as a Surgeon. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and Fellow of the European Board of Urology.
In addition, Dr Chowoo is interested in research regarding botox and overactive bladder treatment. He has performed clinical trials to supplement his research.
