Mr Aneil Shenolikar

Mr Aneil Shenolikar is a leading Consultant in Trauma and Orthopaedics. He currently works for Spire Healthcare, and Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Trust where he is Clinical Director of Trauma and Orthopaedics.

He is a professional member of many prestigious organisations including the British Medical Association, the European Foot and Ankle Society and The American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He has a special interest in foot and toe deformities, Arthritis and Nerve Entrapment. He has published renowned articles on Achilles foot and other orthopaedic ailments. Mr Shenolikar offers the pioneering new treatment extracorporeal shock wave therapy for plantar fasciitis, which is approved and recommended by the National Institute for Clinical Excellence.

Mr Shenolikar began his career with a Bachelor of Medical Science from Dundee University in 1983. He continued his studies there to graduate with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 1986, and became a Fellow at the Royal College of Surgeons in 1990. He continued his training and became a fellow of Trauma and Orthopaedics in 1997.
