He explained what was he would be doing every step of the way. He made you feel comfortable, I had confidence in him.

Mr Woodruff's calm and professional manner in my consultation was carried through into the operating theatre, making a somewhat scary procedure less so. Excellent aftercare too.

I was nervous on my first visit to Mr Woodruff as I had skin cancer that was as close to my eye as it could be without being in my eye. He immediately put me at ease as he explained what needed to be done and arranged for me to go back to have it removed. I went back with full confidence and Mr Woodruff removed the cancerous skin and fully explained what I needed to do to help the wound heal. It is hardly noticeable now and healed so well after following his instructions that I am very grateful to him for seeing me.

I can't think of a way my 'experience' could have been improved. Mr Woodruff explained the procedure to me beforehand and then at each stage he told me what he was doing which was very reassuring. Treatment was prompt, kind and thoughtful. I also appreciated the presence of the nurse. I had expected to just have the initial consultation and then to return for the procedure but Mr Woodruff offered to do both at the same time which meant that I didn't have to return.
