Dear Mr Newman and Team, as I did not get to see you personally at the hip clinic on Tuesday. I am writing to thank you and your team for giving up your Saturday to give me a new hip. It has given me my life back and I am very grateful for the care I received.

Dear Simon, I attended your discharge clinic this morning... 6 weeks after you performed a total hip replacement on me. I have to report that my recovery from the operation... and the success of it... can only be described as miraculous. My GP was astonished when I walked into his surgery after just 4 weeks and exclaimed that most people do not reach that condition after 4 months. Indeed, I have been walking totally unaided... and without painkillers since 1 week after the operation and my leg is now totally normal and pain-free. I am virtually unaware that I have had such a serious operation such a short time ago. I just don't know how I can thank you enough and express my admiration for your work. Thank you so much.
