When choosing a consultant, you want him or her to have both deep and broad knowledge of their specialist area, that goes without saying. But you also want someone who listens to you carefully, who explains all the options (twice or three times if necessary) with all the pros and cons, but without pushing you strongly in any one direction and who treats you as a person, not simply as a condition. Mr Gane does all of this, he's also highly personable and creates a relaxed, informal atmosphere that belies his top-level skills. For the Covid cautious, his consulting room is spacious, there's an open window right by the examination chair and there's an air purifier too. Mr Gane wears an FFP2 mask throughout.

Simon has been treating me for Sinus, Ear & Nose issues for the past 10 months or so - including surgery, consultancy and medication. Basically as a result of this my quality of life has drastically improved. When I first saw Simon I had blocked Sinuses, a blocked ear and wheezy chest. Now all of this gone. I can't recommend Simon highly enough! He also has a great network of other consultants who can help!

Mr. Gane is an absolutely incredible Doctor. I was referred to him in very poor condition - with nosebleeds totalling fourteen hours a day every single day, severely impacting my quality of life. At all times he has always been extremely supportive and kind, always spoke in a way that I understood and explained his insights clearly. His care and actions have been completely life changing, and have opened a whole world of possibilities for me that I haven't been able to even dream of for five years since my issues started. Both my physical and mental health have drastically improved. I am eternally grateful for what Mr. Gane has done for me, and any patient who finds themself in his care can be confident they are in very good hands.
