From the initial consultation through to the actual surgery and aftercare Mr Fogerty has had a calm yet forthright approach. His manner has been very re assuring and helped to put me at ease throughout the entire process. I was an NHS patient not private yet have been treated with a great deal of courtesy and respect. In terms of the actual surgery, i have had a full shoulder replacement and after 11 weeks have regained full movement with very little discomfort. I can highly recommend the procedure and can't thank Mr Fogerty enough, for what has for me been lifechanging surgery.

Mr Fogerty is clearly extremely skilled and experienced. His explanation of the procedure to be done was excellent, and all went to plan as he had outlined. Mr Fogarty's enthusiasm for his work gives confidence, and he comes across as very kind and reassuring.

From the first consultation I had complete faith in Mr Fogerty. He explained my options clearly and went through the pros and cons of surgery thoroughly. I had a rotator cuff repair, bicep tenotomy and a debridement. I had very little pain after my operation and minimal scarring. I have had a very straightforward recovery and I put this down to his skill and professionalism. I would have no hesitation in giving him the highest recommendation. You truly are in safe hands.

Mr Fogerty was extremely clear as to the options available to me. I opted for surgery rather than physiotherapy and again Mr Fogerty explained the risks and rewards. The result of the operation was four small scars in my shoulder that are barely noticeable. I kept to the regime recommended by post-op physiotherapist (Adam) and I have full movement again and no pain. There was a risk of developing a “pop eye” bicep due to the additional tenotomy. 6 months after the operation this has not occurred. I hope to restart playing tennis shortly.
