Dr Khazali performed laparoscopic myomectomy at the Lister hospital on a large fibroid inside the uterus wall. I would like to thank Mr Khazali, Leandri and the whole team for providing me with fantastic medical care from start to finish. In the past, I have had multiple laparoscopic surgeries to remove endometriosis and ovarian cysts, but I have been told that my condition was too severe to operate further. I continued to suffer severe pain and discomfort impacting my quality of life, with a recurrence of my health issues more aggressively than before. From the moment I met Mr Khazali, he was attentive, while being incredibly humble, open and honest about my condition and the risks involved with potential surgeries. Mr Khazali clearly understood the disease to a level I had not experienced with anyone else. Mr Khazali is very respected amongst his staff and fellow colleagues and in his field, to a very high degree, and throughout my care, I heard multiple comments from health care assistants to fellow Consultants, who respect his work, and extremely dedicated commitment to treating Endometriosis. As a patient, the level of patient care I experienced was second to none, and it’s incredible to hear that you’re in great hands! I would like to add that Leandri leads with empathy, grace and compassion, she reached out pre- and post-op to ensure I was made to feel comfortable, had any remaining questions answered and made me feel at ease to proceed with my surgery, which ended up being quite extensive. Both Leandri and Mr Khazali followed up post-op, visiting daily to check on my progress while I was an in-patient, and assessing my ability to recover effectively, and even following up following my discharge via phone.
