Excellent treatment, operation was beyond what i expected. Full use of my little finger after years of it being deformed

At the initial consultation, following examination of my hand, Mr Farnell explained to me, in a friendly manner and using language that I could understand, what my condition was and the various options open to me. I decided on an operation. On the day of the operation Mr Farnell saw me immediately before the operation to check the details he had previously explained, this made me feel completely at ease. I had two further appointments including the final consultation at which Mr Farnell explained how I should look after my hand during the healing process. I feel completely satisfied with my experience and would not hesitate to consult Mr Farnell in the future.

Mr Farnell clearly has outstanding knowledge and experience in his specialist field which was why I was so keen to consult him when my broken wrist set incorrectly. Not only does he have such a wealth of experience he is also warm and approachable and has brilliant communication skills . This meant I fully understood from him throughout what treatment was proposed and why, and I felt completely involved in the whole process. I honestly feel lucky to have been operated on and treated by him and the proof of that is that my hand is now functioning as I had hoped it would!
