As always Mr Lockyer explained everything very clearly and on this occasion was very reassuring about my risk level with regards to covid-19

Mr Lockyer was courteous and efficient. I had several questions concerning my recent poor experiences at St. Mary's hospital, Newport, IoW. These questions covered my current discomfort, the concerns I had about the diagnosis from St, Mary's and the concerns I had of the drugs that had been prescribed for me (with no explanation). I was also worried about the current state of my bladder and prostate - Mr. Lockyer was able to allay these worries after reviewing my clinical data and running a few tests. All questions were answered with understandable explanations which put my mind at rest in every case. I am normally a pretty sanguine person, but recent events had resulted in my seeking a more proficient explanation of the prognosis I had received from St. Mary's.

I have now had numerous appointments with Mr Lockyer and the overall experience has been very positive indeed. Whilst the reason for the appointment is obviously not fantastic, from the outset Mr Locker genuinely made me feel at ease in what I found an initially very awkward situation. This is not easy to achieve and I feel most men would be very appreciative of this in what can be delicate discussions and situations. Additionally Mr Locker takes significant time to not only explain his thoughts but listen to those of the patient and formulate a treatment plan accordingly.

Richard has been a excellent consultant for me. He takes time to explain the issues and the options available. After jointly deciding the way forward, he gets on with it with minimal delay. His manner is sympathetic, friendly and charming. I could not have wished for anyone better.

Mr Lockyer gave me concise, under stable information with clear options for moving forward. He provided clear answers to my questions which will enable me to make sensible decisions moving forward
