Paul was excellent, I would unreservedly recommend him for nerve-sparing robotic prostatectomy. He handled the initial diagnosis call with great sensitivity and was positive and encouraging throughout. As we moved forwards he provided clear and detailed information and advice on the surgery process and the likely side effects. The ultimate success of the operation, including effectively zero side effects (without the need for tablets or any other aids) within a short period of time, is testament to his extraordinary skill and ability.

From the moment I spoke to Paul by telephone last November, I knew I was in good hands. He explained everything I needed to know in a few minutes, and when I told him that I was thinking about radiotherapy, he advised against that as the first line of attack. He advised me to go for removal of the prostate, and if needed, radiotherapy could be used as a backup treatment. This was what I needed to hear. When I was initially diagnosed with prostate cancer by the NHS, I was told that I could have a prostatectomy or radiotherapy to treat the disease, but neither the radiotherapy department or the surgery department would advise me of the route I should take. They told me that that was a decision that I would have to make myself. So when Paul told me what to do, I felt confident that I was in good hands. From that point onwards Paul and Michael the nurse who works alongside Paul have been fantastic. I spoke with Paul last night and he gave me the good news that there was no sign of cancer from my PSA blood test. Its still just 10 weeks from my operation, but I'm feeling fine and looking forward to a complete recovery. Thank you so much Paul. You and your team have been wonderful. Keep up the good work.
