Explanation

Mr Ramesh was far more knowledgeable than any of the doctors I have seen previously and understood my condition well. It would have been nice to have seen him immediately after my surgery as I had many questions, instead I had to wait two weeks.

I would thoroughly recommend this surgery & Mr Ramesh. In the lead up to having the operation people winced when I told them what I was having, so I was pretty scared. But I can honestly say there was very little pain or discomfort. I was able to hobble around the house from day one and certainly by the end of week one I was able to start working on my laptop. It’s a little frustrating not being completely mobile but I was just relieved not to be in pain.

Explanation

Mr Ramesh is a very approachable and caring professional. Following successful bunionectomies in November 2017 and early March 2018, I have spoken of and recommended him in the highest regard to my GP, family and friends. I would urge anyone who is considering a bunionectomy to go and see him. Sixteen weeks post op, the precision of Mr Ramesh’s work has resulted in me experiencing very little discomfort, no pain, and barely visible scarring. I was pleased I chose the New Victoria Hospital for both operations as his team and all of the NVH staff were excellent. I hope my experience will help others.

Explanation

I would like to say how pleased I have been throughout the process of having surgery to remove a painful bunion and toe straightening. From the information given prior to the operation to the postoperative consultation, I have been very impressed. I had previously postponed the procedure due to the time to recover, how this would impact my job and home lift plus feedback that it was very painful.I can only say that from my experience it wasn't painful at all. Dr Ramesh advised that I needed to take two weeks of rest with my foot elevated for most of the time. I followed these instructions and was even able to work with my laptop in the 2nd week of recovery. It certainly was not as disruptive as I originally thought. My wounds healed very well , a neat scar and the swelling has now reduced so am able to walk further each day and I am back to my normal routine two months after initial surgery. Thank you again for your considerate approach and looking after me so well. With the added bobus of having a straight foot. Thank you Dr Ramesh.
