Mr Paddy has been a godsend. Right from the start he explained my complex hip procedure thoroughly to me and my family with always the best bedside manner. From the surgery to the post op assessments a year on, he has been amazing and given me confidence and reassurance every step of the way. I will never be able to thank him enough for the new lease of life he has abled me to have.

Paddy, went through the X-ray, explaining everything. On his advise, and given my pain, I decided that to have a left hip replacement was my best option. My first date for the operation was postponed at the last minute, because my blood type could not be confirmed, meaning that they would not have blood available if I need a blood transfusion. A new date was agreed for the operation which to place at Spire Bushey on. 23 March 2022. The operation went well, and I am very pleased with the outcome.

Hi My first encounter with Mr Subramanian was for an assessment for my painful left hip ,I was under the impression that I had a muscular issue .Dr Paddy very kindly greeted me and asked a few questions then proceeded to examine my leg /hip we then looked at the pelvis X-ray together and with out no hesitation he said that he knows exactly what the problem is, it’s osteoarthritis around the ball joint in the pelvis socket . I was stunned because up until then I thought that my bones and joints were fine because the the pelvis X-ray initially said No action-normal ,this was reported from a senior Radiographer. Dr Paddy had seen what the Radiographer had missed , I must thank him for that. From this my options were explained very clearly and I had no problem understanding the situation and I opted for a total hip replacement. I was contacted around 3 months later with a operation date. I met again with Dr Paddy on the day of the Op he reassured me and made me feel at ease. I am now nearly 3 weeks post Op and met Dr Paddy again for a chat and check up on my progress ,all I can say is that I walked into his office with no walking aids and very little pain I feel so grateful for the work he has done it has literally changed my life , I would like to thank everyone who has cared for me and also Dr Paddy for the excellent work because if it wasn’t for him recognising the fact that the first X-ray assessment was incorrect I would still be suffering now ,for this I will be forever grateful. Kind regards . Roy

Mr Paddy Subramanian replaced my knee which removed constant pins and needles and agonising pain. Due to the preference of past patients, he didn't use clips and instead used dissolving stitches, thinking only of the welfare of his patients. He is a very pleasant man and an excellent surgeon.

I was referred to Mr Paddy for a hip operation. I was very nervous but when I saw him he put me at ease straight away. He explained fully everything that would happen but in a nice soft manner not just medically. Even though he is in demand he always takes the time to ask if I needed any further explanation or in my case some extra pain relief. I have had no negative experience with the operation and he will be doing my other hip hopefully in the not too distant future. I have total trust and confidence in Mr Paddy as he really is a star!
