On 24 Feb 22 Dr Harley completed an operation "Trapeziectomy" and "Proximal trapezoidectomy" which he added when it became apparent. Before the pain was awful. 3 weeks after the operation the original pain had almost gone. A little while later I noticed at night my thumb was locking. Just slight pain in the day. The appointment on 3 Nov I mentioned this and there and then gave me a cortizone injection. That sort of service is rather rare. Thank you very much.

Absolutely amazing service all was well explained

I had spent about two years considering plastic surgery and met so many consultants, I did not feel like I truly connected with any of them until I met Mr. Harley. For me I really wanted my consultant to understand my insecurities, concerns and what I wanted to achieve. I only saw a couple of reviews for Mr. Harley before I decided to visit him, but the reviews I did see spoke to highly of him and had more information than other one sentence reviews. So I decided to go and see him, literally from being with him for about 15mins I knew he was the consultant that I wanted. I was also impressed that he had student hospital doctors with him, he was training others- so must be good. Mr. Harley, was patient with my a million plus questions, even when I had a panic a week before my surgery he was calm, spoke to me and said if you do not want to go ahead then it is ok, he said to come and see him to discuss it. I went to go and see him and he spent as much time as I needed with him. He was excellent and I never felt any pressure at all. On the day of the surgery he saw me in the morning, before I went into theatre- he was the first person that greeted me in recovery, then a couple of hours later and then again before he went home, and also the following morning. Having a surgeon that invested in you and your recovery after the surgery I think is something truly unique to Mr. Harley. He really does genuinely care. He also sees you a week after the surgery and has an open door policy so any problems you can go straight back. He has a fantastic bed side manner and really does take the time to understand his clients, he even asked me about my interests outside of work, remembered them and talked to me about them on later visits. I honestly cannot say enough positive things about Mr. Harley, if I could change anything- it is that I wish I had met him sooner, and I wish I had the procedure done sooner! I am so pleased with everything, my results are fantastic. Thank you Mr. Harley!

I received a very comprehensive explanation about what the operation to correct the dupuytren's contracture in my ring finger and little finger would involve. The end result is so good, the fingers on my hand look almost back to how they should be. Thank you Mr Harley.

Mr Harley is a great surgeon, he kept me very calm and was concerned that I was feeling ok during hand surgery. Very quick hand operation and recovery very good.
