As this was a redo procedure (previous surgery in 2016 by another surgeon) Mr Menezes was very thorough and had relevant tests performed before surgery to provide the best approach. He painstakingly re did the whole operation repairing the hiatus using a gore absobable mesh and converting the Nissan fundoplication to a Toupet 270 degrees fundoplication. His explanations were very thorough and guided me through the surgery was has resulted in significant benfit already.

I underwent an inguinal hernia repair under the care of Mr Menezes and my experience was fantastic. Mr Menezes is a kind, caring and excellent surgeon and took the time to explain everything about the procedure and various options that I had. He put me at ease on the date of the operation and made himself available should I have any questions or concerns. I am very grateful to Mr Menezes for his help throughout this period.

A very pleasant and approachable Consultant. Very professional. He was very caring and explained every procedure throughly and I felt completely at ease under his care.

After a very long struggle with cancer, I lost my beloved father. He was a patient of Mr Menezes. About ten years ago, he had pancreatic cancer and was treated by you with a Whipple procedure which saved his life and gave us, his family many more precious years with him. From my reading, I know that Dad’s long survival after such a serious illness is something of an unusual statistic and testament of your skill as a surgeon and compassion as a person. Quite understandably, you were his hero, he spoke of you often and thanked his lucky stars every day that you and he crossed paths. You are my hero too. Go on doing what you do and know that you are appreciated. With sincere thanks and the greatest respect.

I just wanted to thank you again for persevering with the keyhole surgery last Saturday and taking all of that time to remove the stones from the bile duct which I know has lead to a much quicker recovery for me. Please also pass on my sincere gratitude to your wonderful team at St Peters, their kindness really touched me and I appreciate how they find the time to do this under such difficult circumstances. They are all a credit to you and I would like to call out Michelle who assisted and also Marco who came over to see me at the Runnymede on Sunday
