Mfazo came across as an excitable and knowledgeable character from the offset, which I have to say was a pleasant and welcoming surprise, given my previous experiences with consultants in other medical fields. I was encouraged by his openness, and willingness to answer all of my questions; which helped to allay my concerns and fears...which I must say 'I had plenty of' : )

I saw Mr Hove yesterday and had the bilateral YAG capsulotomy laser treatment in both eyes. You put me at such ease and is truly remarkable. He explained everything and was very informative. It was painless and a very quick procedure. My eyes are great this morning and back to as they were before. Thank you once again.

Upon meeting Mr. Hove for the first time, I was immediately put at ease. He greeted me with a warm welcome, described what the Cataract eye procedure would involve and as for someone who has worn glasses for a long long time Mr. Hove generally reduced my apprehension. Further, and with such a high lens prescription in both eyes Mr. Hove recognised it would be a safety concern (unbalanced) that if once my right eye had been operated on, my left eye was not also operated on. Mr. Hove took it upon himself to liaise with and sought permission from the Group Medical Director (on a Saturday morning) to operate the following day. Over the weekend of 30th & 31st October Mr. Hove carried out my cataract surgery replacing the eye lens with Monofocal lenses. An overall satisfying experience, thank you.

I met dr Mfazo at an eye clinic. Daughter was presenting severe allergic conjunctivitis. He was friendly, helpful and very thorough with his explanations and my 4 year old was very comfortable with him. very professional. He also chased up my referral to hospital and got me an appointment with a follow up consultant in the next month. Extremely impressed!

He is one if the most pleasant health professionals I have ever come across in the UK. He us not only very competent, but his very demanour put ne ar complete ease before the procedure, and the procedure itself went like a flash, 7 minutes!

I had approached Dr Hove to get a pigmentation in my eye removed. This had been a long insecurity of mine which affected my confidence a lot. When I met Dr Hove he assured that this pigmented nevus would be removed via the Argon laser thermoplasty of conjuctival nevus procedure. He was very gentle and assuring throughout the entire surgery process. My nevus was completely removed by the laser process alone. I sent him a picture of my eye a week after and my eye is white again and my confidence back on track. I will highly recommend Dr Hove if they too have an insecurity regarding any pigmentation in their eyes.
