This was my 2nd operation under the care of Mr Oliver, as requested. He was the surgeon for my L hip and I wanted continuity of care for my R hip surgery. I was reassured by his manner and all interactions from initial consultation to surgery . Friendly and professional.

Found the doctor to be honest and I felt at ease during my appointment

Very nice gentleman who made me feel at ease within the first minute. Explained why there needs to be further investigation before he could proceed.

I find Mr Mathew very satisfactory by in every way.

It was obvious he had read my medical notes before seeing me. He talked about what he was doing when he examined me and explained clearly what my xray was telling him. He then talked me through my options so I was able to see a clear way forward. He also gave me some great advice on looking after myself and preparing for surgery. He talked to me as a person and had time for me.

Mr Oliver replaced my right Knee, and told me that I would hate him for the next 6 weeks, but after that you will love me, at the moment I hate him, so looking forward to the 6 weeks to come up. And looking forward to loving him.

He was very good explaining my options and describing my problem in detail. I am now more relaxed and not anxious about my problem and hopefully can get an operation to get rid of the pain and solve the problem. I hope Mr Oliver will be my surgeon as I feel very confident of him.

We get on well and surgery went well too. Not feeling too much pain and I am progressing.

Very professional when describing the details on the hip replacement procedure. Talked about the previous surgery on the left hip which was excellent!
