From the outset of my first consultation with Mr Edmondson, I was instantly impressed by his welcome, his knowledge of my ailment, the implications for my lifestyle and the resolution. His confident and knowledgeable description of the solution, together with a comprehensive description of risks, on balance, left me with the necessary confident engagement to embrace surgery. That first consultation was not to be underdone by subsequent engagement with him on a surgical ward over a 48 period; professional, respectful, caring and engaged interactions took place on 3 or 4 occasions outside of the operating theatre, leaving me feel genuinely cared for and not processed. So far, outcomes appear initially to be pretty excellent.
