I saw mr Pope in Morriston hospital July 2019 where he found changes in my throat which would probably lead to me having my voice box removed at some stage and because I was only 26 at the time i was very young. He gave it to me straight that if I didn’t stop smoking I would be looking at an operation probably in my 30’s. I went home and had my last cigarette that day. In December 2020 I had a problem with my throat again and I wanted to be sure there was nothing suspicious there. At my appointment in Sancta Maria mr Pope came out to reception to call me. Hewas very professional but friendly too and spoke to me at my level so I was able to understand what he told me, luckily all was fine. Any problems I would have no hesitation in going back to see him and would recommend him. I am extremely grateful to him for his advice. Mr Pope has a caring attitude.
