I saw Mr Larholt in March 2017 at Shirley Oaks hospital and have been very impressed. He quickly made time to see me, examine me and make recommendations for investigation scans to help and make a fully formed diagnosis. Because the scans could not be done the same day Mr Larholt made an extra special effort to keep in touch with me, reassure me let me know what the next steps where going to be. Despite, no doubt very busy schedule I was made to feel like an individual and given appropriate attention which filled me with confidence that I was in a safe pair of hands and being looked after someone who genuinely cared about me as an individual. I found Mr Larholt to be a very aimable young man and was very surprised and pleased at the personal effort he put in getting my operation underway so quickly in the NHS. He explained fully the procedure he was going to use to repair my ruptured Achilles' tendon operation. He put my mind at rest having been informed that this procedure should be done as a soon as possible within four weeks from injury. Mr Larholt telephoned me and arranged to see me and then juggled his workload and fitted me in his schedule to make sure I had the operation within the time perimeters . I am pleased to say the operation went well and should be signed off by the physio that was arranged by my surgeon. I was very worried about my injury and I can't that Mr Larholt enough for his professionalism and friendly nature at all times throughout the whole time involved. After successfully operating on both bunions, Jonathan performed an operation on my toe joint, "a carva implant". I am now pain free and back to jogging and it truly has given me a new lease of life. , Thank you Jonathan.
