Mr.Marais performed a septoplasty on me recently. I had experienced nasal breathing problems for a long time which had began to interfere with my sleeping pattern and really start to wear me down. I had put off getting the problem looked at as I had assumed I required a nose break and reset (like a few friends have had done) and I dreaded even the thought of that. After seeing Mr.Marais it was far simpler than that. I just needed some skin removed from inside my nose and only stayed one night in hospital. My sleeping pattern is entirely back to normal now and it was a complete pleasure to deal with Mr.Marais who was attentive, professional and informative throughout.

Mr Joe Marais is a fantastic consultant, who is both professional, compassionate and with his manner puts you at ease immediately. My experience with him spans over a 12 month period resulting in two operations 11 months apart from each other. The one thing I appreciate is he listens. He is very pleasant and easy to communicate with. I am impressed with the breadth of knowledge as he explained very thoroughly everything that he was going to do in both procedures. No question was too stupid and all my questions were answered in an honest, calming way. Everything went extremely smoothly in both operations. I had a true feeling of trust being under his care. Truthfully, the results are better than I could have imagined. Most importantly he is an incredible surgeon. My breathing capability through my nose is excellent and I no longer snore. I couldn't be happier with the results. After care is fantastic as well. I would not hesitate to recommend Mr Joe Marais.
