A year on from my microdiscectomy surgery I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to Mr Langdon and the team who cared for me last July at Spire Harpenden and would be grateful if you could pass this email to him. An extremely skilled and professional consultant, Mr Langdon showed nothing but care, concern and compassion in the weeks leading up to my surgery, even telephoning me at home several times over the weekend to enquire how I was. Nothing was too much trouble and I was so appreciative of the fact that he arranged a surgical team at very short notice and came in on a Monday evening at the end of what must have been an already incredibly busy day to perform my surgery. The severe nerve pain I had suffered prior to surgery improved almost immediately and I can happily say that I feel I am back to full health twelve months on. I am now back to living life again, keeping fit by walking 5 - 6 miles every day and enjoying a newfound love of Pilates. Once again, thank you so much Mr Langdon for everything.
