Mr Vohra was exceptionally warm, friendly, reassuring and open from the outset - a very easy man to relate to. He was ready to give me as much time as I needed to get a good understanding of the technicalities of his Minimally Invasive surgical approach to heart valve repair/replacement including the risks and benefits. He was supportive and understanding during some of the stresses I experienced post-surgery. I regard Mr Vohra as a rare find and am so grateful to him for giving my old heart a new chance at life.

From first consultation with mr vohra I felt at ease for the first time since learning of my heart condition which made me feel secure and safe in his care. He gave me as much time as I needed during his consultation for me to ask any questions which there were very few as he had covered it perfectly. Although it was a terrifying time I always had confidence that I was in safe hands my surgery went well and I will be forever grateful to this brilliant man for giving me my life back!

I feel so privileged to come into the world of Mr Vohra and we in Bristol are so lucky to have the skills of this lovely gentleman. If I could have given him 6 I would. So hands on I've seen him every day for a review.

Mr Vohra performed a very successful minimally invasive mitral valve repair. Both before and after the operation, Mr Vohra took time to explain the procedure and answer any questions or concerns. Mr Vohra also took the time to keep my husband informed after my surgery and during my early recovery. My post operative care on the ward was overseen by Mr Vohra and his colleague and they ensured I received everything I needed. Mr Vohra’s secretary, Ms Nef, was also excellent and followed up any queries prior to the operation and afterwards.

The whole experience was handled very professionally by both Mr Vohra & his Team, in what was for me a very anxious operation, but I was taken excellent care of & with a successful outcome. An obviously talented and skilled surgeon who cares for successful outcomes for his patients. Definitely a people orientated person by how he willingly spends time providing explanations of his treatment. On the day of my surgery he took time to telephone my wife and bring reassurance. I will not forget that act of kindness
